purchased tickets to europe yesterday. right. going. italy and france. after we bought the tickets we discussed the fact that we had both been on the edge of backing out of the trip... good thing we didn't discuss that before. so now we're thinking... arrive in paris, spend the night. take overnight train to rome, meet siena there. spend night. go to siena with siena and from there make day trips to florence... arezzo (where guido came from), tuscan countryside, etc. leave siena and stop in venice. train to nice for a few days. then back to paris. then home. this is too amazing to be real. and we found a france and italy hostel guide. we can stay places for $15 a night. and staying with siena is free.

and before i go away... in just over two weeks :gulp: we have to paint the new apartment, move and paint the old apartment. (remind me of the hell of this task if i ever again decide i need to paint all the trim in a place blue.) _and_ there's the work thing. oy.

wow, i am feeling seriously overwhelmed right now. must do something... pack or something.

mah!

whhhyyyyyyy does the minister i work for have no taste? whhyyyy did i say, sure, i can come up with a choral arrangement of your cheezy-ass folk song. ugh.

the irony. here i am, praying for rain. please please rain and break the nastiness of this humidity. and i have to spend the day writing out a tune called sunshine on the land. sounds rather john denver, doesn't it. oh yeah, i'm thinking sunshine on my shoulders... yeah, this is about that caliber.

i didn't spend two years getting a master of music for this crap.

who's bitter?
