phineasjoneshappy Evacuation Day! no? right. ok. happy st. patrick's day to all you non-bostonians. well, to the bostonians too but we get the double-whammy of evacuation day and st. paddy's. i'm trying to be in touch with my irish heritage today... but it's really rather calm and quiet... doesn't make me feel the need to wear green or any such thing. thank you, irish blood, for not being too tacky.
this week is looking totally crazy right now... odd, considering my state of semi-employment. but there's lots to do. starting with today. i have to get my butt to lexington to pick up music and then work at uu central for as long as i can squeeze in before heading off to the women's ensemble tonight. run run run. bleh.
but, woohoo, it's already 56 degrees out there! i opened the door and it was warmer outside than it is in the apartment. spring is doing her thing. yay. and that's a reminder to me that i am about to be 28 years old. holy shit, man. i'm almost 40!
