well. i just spent a little while congratulating myself on how little money i've spent lately. went to record the receipts in my wallet and there weren't any! that's great. yay. except. then i paid some bills. and now my balance is so low it's... well, tragic comes to mind but let's go with scary. i'll put in my hours at work tomorrow... should be able to get a check by the end of the week but... meow! am broke!

the letter from the chorus came. it is, indeed an announcement of a job opening. sort of. it's very weirdly worded.

"dear ms. jones

we are currently updating out personnel files in anticipation of a vacancy on our artistic staff for the upcoming 2003-2004 concert season. if you would like to be considered for the conductor's position should it become available please send an updated resume including your salary requirements to:

should it become available? so... they don't know? i find this confusing.

spent a lovely few hours chatting with anney and jenny this morning. <3 those gals. but now there's all this crap to do. bleh. but no! i have declared a new life (again). and in this new life, i do these things. yes. regularly. like pay bills. and make money with which to pay those bills. and wear my fake nerdy glasses around the house bc they make me feel smarter.
