dude, there are 25 buses full of people going to the rally from northampton. 25! lil ol'noho!

we finally managed to get tickets for one of the boston buses after days of trying. they kept selling out and then they would get more and then those would sell out within an hour. this is going to be big.

i did manage to get off the s/r mope wagon and do a few useful things today. laundry. went to lexington and the grocery store. taught myself a dar tune on the guitar. just the chords mind you, i can't play for shit. i also can't play f chords and thus am very pleased with my ability to transpose.

and now off to a rehearsal that i've just been informed may contain some high school students. oy. and many catholics. which means i should probably be less irreverent about the mass text than i usually am. the uus think i'm funny. but the guy on fresh air today said the uus have a better sense of humor than the catholics. *g* it's true they tell jokes about themselves all the time... do catholics do that?

Actually B and I were just talking about the protest and she says if you guys bring signs, you should think about putting them on cardboard tubes instead of wooden or aluminum posts, because those may be confiscated by the cops.

i guess replying to comments is a legal excuse for putting it off. are all of you protesters disappearing for the whole weekend, then? guess i'll have to occupy myself by reading the rest of a splendid trilogy (http://www.schnoogle.com/authorLinks/Iniga/") by iniga containing many gorgeous s/r soulmate musings (not much slash outside my imagination, but the astonishingly beautiful friendship makes it worthwhile). part I is about s & r and part two is said to center around percy and snape, whom i also adore! always nice to find a fic written justforme. i'll read and let everyone know whether it was worth the time investment by the time you get back :-)

we'll only be gone saturday... um, rach and i that is. camilla leaves today as she has other nyc business. rach and i are catching the rally bus at 6 am tomorrow and the return bus should get in around midnight. and then there's church on sunday! :) oy.
