hmm. ::squints suspiciously at mac client:: i guess this will do.
blehblehbleh. staff meeting at church in half and hour. these are so pointless. the minister and i figure out what we need to in about 5 minutes then i sit and listen to her yammer on to eveyone else for two hours. un.necessary.
i lack inspiration. for this post. for the damn fic. for many other areas of my life. hmm. i think i'll try this one - i saw
syxer7 do it and, you know, why not? and let's add a question element...
ask me anything or say anything you want about me, anonymously...
and, in exchange, also gacked from pam,
1. How often do you read your friends page?
i have an intervenous feed. or... all the time. whenever i'm near it, i'm refreshing constantly. though, i am generall not a fan of the live mode. i want to be in control.
2. Does it annoy you when people post too often?
only if they're posting drivel. i support the frequent poster, as a rule.
3. How often is "too often"?
eh. as long as i'm being entertained, i won't complain.
4. Do you worry when particular friends don't post often enough?
well, yeah. i do tend to notice these things. i worry a little sometimes... but usually i assume the person is busy or i just wonder what's up and asssume we'll all find out later.
5. Do you read every word of every post on your friends page?
just about. i have learned whose posts to skim but i thoroughly read, like, 92% of the entries. so yes, even if you think i'm not paying attention, you'd be surprised.
6. Do you religiously check what's behind any lj-cuts?
no. only if they look interesting... or they are part of a post of one of my closer friends.
7. Do you use a reading filter?
only when necessary. and sometimes not even then. i probably should. ::shrug::
8. What type of entry do you most like to read?
mmm... fannish stuff. fic posts. random observations on life. witty commentary. whatever, i'm easy.
9. What type of entry makes you grind your teeth?
reallyreally long uncut posts. spammy quiz results - not behind a cut. mean-spirited nastiness.
10. What type of entry sends you to sleep?
fandom ramblings about a fandom i'm not in. rants in cryptic language i'm not meant to understand.
11. What type of entry would prompt you to defriend someone?
rampant conservativeness... unwarranted meanness... i think the only time i defriended someone because of a specific entry it was an anti-rps rant. i don't need that, thanks.

Date: 2003-02-06 07:15 am (UTC)but, really, i think what i mostly dislike is when people post fic without cutting it - because a. it can be REALLY long and b. you don't want to accidentally read the middle of a fic... you know?
also, there's someone on my list who posts AWFUL poetry. really long awful poetry that burns my eyes when i see it and she never cuts.
yeah, see? i really wasn't talking about you. :)

Date: 2003-02-06 08:56 am (UTC)OK, good to know. :-) I get what you're saying. And it probably matters more to you than to me, since I have now cut down my friends list to a mere 12 to make it more manageable while travelling.
