i did some good things today. some pilates. using a big ball. fun times. and camillafarfalla and i went to lexington. more good times. we ranted about war. and then i also go to rant some more about ron and homophobic stereotypes. we agreed that ron/draco should actually be a fantipulous pairing. (hmm... just made up that word, but i'm enjoying it). i haven't ever looked for much ron/draco... read a few quickies that weren't bad. maybe i will have to go look now. a wee project for the evenin'.

otp's. they just get you when you're least expecting it. i'm a little otp about harry and draco... but i can read other pairings. i just like them most. but then, camilla and i are talking about how it's fine to have an otp but you don't need to go slamming other pairings, it's just not called for. and now i have to ask myself, why would harry/sirius be more wrong than harry/snape?

true answer: because sirius can NEVERNEVERNEVER be with anyone but remus. NEVER. or i would die. a thousand horrible deaths. well ok, he could be with someone else before he's with remus. but then that's it.

i'm pathetic. i'm gone. sirius/remus. that's it. it's over. stick a fork in me. i'm done.

yay cim. yeah. um, it actually kind of hurts - physically - to think about them with anyone else. owowow.

yeah, there's a chunk missing from this post of mine here... but the main point - sirius/remus 4eva - that seems to come across well enough.

hmmm... do the youth write 4eva outside of the boston area where they really pronounce it that way? just wondering...

eesh. this accent might amuse me more if i hadn't grown up with it - jr high insult #1 was 'you ah so queeah.'

I'm also very OTP about Sirius/Remus. I can cope with Severus/Remus if there's at least still a hint of Sirius/Remus in there, as backstory or whatever. The intergenerational relationships like Harry/Sirius or Harry/Remus or Harry/Snape don't tend to do anything for me at all.

i can handle harry/snape... snape is clearly obsessed with harry... but when harry's older.

but sirius and remus... they're for each other only and that's it!

It's funny, I believe in Remus/Sirius to the degree where I've started to believe that it's a canon pairing. I think it helps that a lot of other stuff (slash or sometimes even gen) seems to support this ship in the sidelines (I'm sure there's a reference to it in Draco Veritas even though Sirius is currently straight, and I'm pretty sure there's a reference in Snitch!)

As soon as I actually read believable Harry/Severus I'd be happy to support it. It's like Hermione/Snape which a friend of mine avidly ships... so not for me, especially the Ew, Het! factor. Still, I don't begrudge anyone else their ships (okay, I might be slightly less understanding if it's het).

it really does feel like canon, doesn't it? there's so little you have to ignore or put aside - unlike with just about every other pairing.

hmmm... lately i've been thinking i should find some severus/james. that would be interesting and it would add a whole new level to snape/harry.
