that's right. we did the deed. mmm_cake and i are now officially registered as domestic partners. which means i can now partake of her health insurance - for a small fee. this is of the good.

did you know - you don't even need id to register! (providing you live in or near a city that will register you in the first place) right, no id, but we did have to raise our right hands and swear that the statement we signed was true.

we will be receiving a certificate and laminated cards in the mail soon. laminated cards. how fun. and it's lovely that this is taking place exactly one week before our 4 year anniversary. aw.

oh! and we brought a camera, of course.



and, of course - a reception. we considered many catering options before settling on pre-made sushi at the coop down the street from city hall.



this is rach looking frighteningly similar to the way her brother looks in every picture of him ever taken. and me, celebrating water.
