as i was about to leave the house in a rush to go find some music, i realized i had a week longer than i thought to find said music. this is good, because i don't feel like going anywhere. it's cold out there.

i have already experienced said cold. i was happily working away at my job this morning when the computer suddenly kicked me off the shared drive. no problem, said i, i will walk to the music store. i was so cold, so cold out that by the time i neared the music store, i planned to go inside and never leave again. but it was not to be. the store was closed for renovation. bastards. so i walked my frozen ass to the nearest subway station. got back to work 40 minutes later with only frigid digits to show for my efforts.

mmm. tired. how to fix that without time for sleep?

yay, i support that. i think coffee right now might not be so good for the eventual necessary sleep however. i chose to watch an episode of buffy instead. mmmbuffy. my buffy addiction is back in full force. i'm already 7 eps into the third season. i hate season 3 xander though. i wish he would stop being so icky about angel. come, xander, be the cute, bumbling nice guy again!

Yay Buffy addiction! I haven't seen season 3 in a long time, so I look forward to observing how season 3 Xander is different. I do remember being a bit annoyed at Buffy's reluctance to tell everyone about Angel's return. Why would she do that? Maybe they explain and I've just forgot. Also, do they ever explain how/why Angel returned?

hmm, good question. i just now watched the episode in which we are introduced to the first. fun stuff. i think it had the cheesiest ending i have yet to see in a buffy episode. loved it of course. *g* and xander's being much nicer now. phew.

I just erased my response to this entry which was "Oh is that the one where..." because if I'm worng, then I just gave away the ending to an episode and I hate that. R was at work talking about an episode of The Sopranos we had just watched and her coworker says "Oh, that's the one where [major character's name] dies, right?" Yeah, well, it wasn't.

funny. i was talking about the one with the snow. mmm... i just now watched the hansel and gretl one. i'm feeling sick today so i don't see why i should have to do anything but watch buffy all day long. except then i'll be done with season 3 too fast and that will be sad.

What is silly is that I was going to call you yesterday afternoon around this time to chat, but I didn't bc I thought you would be heading off to work - bc I was under the illusion it was Thursday. But now it really is Thursday and you really are heading off to work, so poo! on me for getting my days mixed up and hence not being able to chat with you. Perhaps we can rectify this situation tomorrow.

Have a good rehearsal! Stay warm! (my allergy-inducing jacket and Spanish hat and amazing Peruvian scarf that May brought me from CR are doing a damn good job of making me hate winter a little less in these frigid days, I must say. I would likely be much grumpier without them. *g*)
