to do when full brain function returns:
1. feedback for
zarah5's beautiful natural progression
2. comment on
starbuckle's viggorli thoughts
3. kick semagic's ass. what's its problem anyway. meh.
but right now, the brain is not at that level. am feeling tired and sad and panic-y... heavy on the last one there. and i don't want to talk about it here... bc really, who wants to hear that? not me.
went to ttt today with
camillafarfalla and monkey (who made it a little over half way through and then couldn't be comfortable in the theater any more. sad.) need i say i loved it again? it keeps getting better and i keep seeing and hearing new things. i cry all over the place. but especially whenever sam cries. and when theoden stands at his son's grave. and when eowyn thinks aragorn's gone. and when they ride out of helms deep and gandalf and eomer come. when theoden recites the poem. when sam cries. when sam cries. also, when sam cries.
am thinking of putting out some recs here of things i consider to be lotrips classics. just my own little opinion - for those cuties on my friends list who are just getting into this. and my own opinion will always be heavily balanced toward the billinic. because i like them, yes. but not exclusively. maybe i'll start right now... lessee...
perhaps i will start with
lobelia321 as she's one of my all time faves. you just can't go wrong with her stuff.
i love the entire series (at the bottom of her page) which begins with 'a helping hand' and 'we can do more.' the series involves dom, billy, orlando and viggo. i love it even though it didn't do what i thought i wanted it to. it was right and i was wrong. c'est comme ca. please read it if you haven't already.
also, 'past imperfect.' it's martin/david. and it's beautiful.
'up shit creek' is hilarious and it's billy/karl - she gets points just for that pairing.
the 'arthropods' series is also fantastic. like i said, you can't go wrong. and if you haven't read all of these already, what on earth are you waiting for?
oh, and camilla, it is indeed called restless. it's by rave and it's archived at beyond the fellowship.
