phineasjonesomg. if i wasn't squeeing in fangirlishness over lil elwood before, i'll have to do it now after seeing this list of cds he totes around with him. it's the roches that did me in.
urgh. seems i am suddenly unable to get out of bed before 10. this is unlike me and it is frustrating, as the mornings seem to disappear. come back, morning! come baaaaaack!
but this morning there is coffee. ahhhhhhh.
i still don't know what i'm doing tonight. waiting for friends to figure out who's having what party where. not that i necessarily feel like a party. but. we shall see.
our cat seems to have catalogued in her little head all items in the house that are difficult to wash. the heavy velvet blanket/couch cover, the papasan chair cushion, the living room rug. and then she vomits on them, one at a time. thanks, chloe.

Lij's worldly, history-rich way of talking about his cds cracked me up, what with him being 21 - so even his lifetime of musical appreciation has been relatively short. "That was in my metal period," and "when I was first getting into jazz..." and his reference to being really open to all musical styles when he was 10. *g*
