ok. i think going to bed would be a good idea at this point. i can get up in a few hours and finish 1. the intro 2. the fantasia notes 3. the two hymn notes... and that's all? woot! i can totally do that in the morning. right? and be at the church at 9. right. sure. no problem... i can get about 3 hours of sleep. ::cries::

but good things that happened were chats with [livejournal.com profile] harrimad_sol and [livejournal.com profile] ivyblossom - who has posted more of her gorgeous epic. yes. and i am in love with both ginny and pansy. (camilla, you'll kill me for this, but pansy keeps making me think of jody for some reason).

for this line alone, this story deserves my devotion: After all, she was sorted into Gryffindor, and she was an out of work waitress.

right. i really am going to bed now.

a happy friday!

wow. i can't think of anything i'd rather be doing than reading delightedly this lovely piece of brilliance towards which you have pointed me. wow! minor confusion... is the 'gorgeous epic' of which you speak quiescence or is it something else that i must find? one chapter as promising as this one certainly deserves epic-status, even standing alone.

oh, i hope you're still sleeping as i'm writing this, and i send you the very best & warmest morning-taskmaster vibes that i can muster, to greet you when you wake up :-D

ok, i'm in a rush but... do you mean to tell me you haven't read origins/haven/belong???? this can't be true. my goodness, if it is true, go and read it RIGHT NOW!!! it's like, the most gorgeous thing ever. EVER. makes me cry. weep. GO!!!!

actually, i haven't. i blush to admit it. i've tried a couple of times and have either been intimidated by the length and renown of the epic (what if i don't like it? what if i start it and can't finish? or can't stop reading??) and i'm also always put off by the required subscription to veela-inc. to start with origins. laziness? fear of the unknown? i don't know. but i'll try again, as you recommend... i do love me a good tearjerker!!

oh. whoops. sometimes it's a little embarassing when ivy witnesses me drooling all over the place about her. ::blush:: oh well, not like it's going to stop me.

in all seriousness here... ivy talks about hating haven, and guess i can sympathize with that sort of thinking that makes you hate something you did a while ago bc you know you could do it better now and all... but i still love and adore it. the very first chapter especially. yes, you are in danger of getting hooked. i read haven first, then belong and then origins and that worked fine for me. don't hesitate to sign up for veela-inc - nothing is required of you and you get to read origins which is SO beautiful.
i can't really gush on enough. and after you read haven, you should read the new chapter she wrote for it, innocence - oh. my. god. it makes you cry but not for sadness, just for the beauty of it.
i'm in earnest. i can't in good conscience let you go much further in your life without having read this. :) all other harry/draoc... all other fanfic pales in comparison.
and that chapter with ginny and pansy will make more sense in light of the story that comes before it.
did i convince you yet?
