i have no time! i've spent my morning/afternoon helping rach get ready for her concert that's really soon. now i have to go get dressed so i can attend it. parents picking my up in 45 minutes!

but it's been such a great, christmas-y day and a half. we got our tree last night! it's so beautiful. i think it's the nicest tree i've ever had. ::nods::

and then today, present from starbuckle sitting outside my door! yayayay::bounce:: music. and beautiful journal. and vegan treats! i *heart* peanut brittle. and i *heart* jenny.

there you go, all the squeeing i have time for. (for which i have time, that would be.) have loffly days, all. i'll be at two, christmas concerts.

oh! and tomorrow rach, camillafarfalla and i are going to mount holyoke to see vespers. western mass kids? wanna come? it's the best christmas concert ever! yup. and it's free. you just have to stand in a long line to get in... unless you know where to sneak in like we do. come? or at least maybe we can meet up for dinner or something? what say ye?

vespers in general is an evening church service thingy. the vespers i'm talking about it an annual christmas concert at mount holyoke. it runs kind of like a service - there's not applause til the end, the audience sings the carols along with the choirs. it's in the chapel. the music varies from year to year but certain things - like the candelit chant processional - happen every year and it's really beautiful. so, you in?

thanks, deary. i'm sure it will be lovely as always - but right now, i wish i could go back to bed. love choral music as i do, 4 performaces in 2 days becomes a bit much. i'm sure i won't feel that way when i'm in the darkened chapel and 100+ women are processing down the isle chanting the magnificat and holding candles. mmm. i miss singing in that concert.

yes, come with, that will be delightful. we're thinking we'll leave here around 2. that will put us in noho in time for a quick early dindin. the concert is at 7:30 but we should get in line at 6:30 or so, i think - in case sneaking in doesn't work. oh, and it's at mhc - in abbey chapel. so... i'm off to church now, but i'll be back around 1:30 so we can check plans and set meeting places then. good?
