so. saw CoS again today. with
darkrosetiger. wish i had more to say about her but we barely had time to talk, thanks to my tardiness. ::slaps self on hand:: well, for once it wasn't actually my fault, so i take the slap back. she was lovely, though. and it didn't matter that we'd never spoken, we giggled our way through the movie together all the same.
next time i see that movie, i'm bringing a notebook. i thought of so many things i wanted to mention here... but now all i can remember is the weirdness of age-changing draco. (someone else mentioned this, was it
silviakundera?) when you're paying attention, it's really disturbing. he's clearly older in his first scene than his second. unfortunate. and, why don't they tint tom felton's eyebrows? if our boy's supposed to be naturally white blond, would he really have black eyebrows?
also, i don't approve of teary hermione. as i recall, we get to read about her bursting into tears once or twice in the books, but does she ever write about her looking mopey and watery eyed? hmph. that's not my hermione. um. heheh. i mean, heh, canon hermione. yeah, canon.
oh, but, back to draco... despite the eyebrows, the age-shifting, the speech impediment... i *heart* him. i just... ::pets him, then wipes slimy hair grease off hand:: he's so tortured! *g*
oh yeah, and, once again knocked flat by the riddle-prettiness. ohmygoodness. it's a problem.

Date: 2002-11-25 09:52 pm (UTC)with MEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!! So I won't be poor sad Camilla like today: "good afternoon,
RivendellLexus of Watertown, why am I not with Phineas watching Draco moon over Harry?!" *g* Fortunately I know you'll be up for it again soon. heehee!::pets him, then wipes slimy hair grease off hand::
HAHAHAHA!! (I guess that would be "lol." I don't like "lol" though. It's not onomonopeic enough for me. Or whatever you'd say about a word or phrase looking like its meaning. Anyway, this cracked me up. Not least bc of the amount of hair grease I looked at all today and last week on ze cahr zalesmehn.)

Date: 2002-11-26 02:53 am (UTC)weepy girl
Date: 2002-11-26 09:26 am (UTC)i just see hermione as tougher... not that she doesn't cry, but when she does, she goes all the way. but that's me. there's room in the world for a teary hermione and all her poignance.
