OH. And the thing I REALLY want is the companion story to the book- the story of Neville and Luna and Ginny and the Hogwarts Resistance.
I want the Hogwarts Express and the altercation with Draco, defending the absence of our trio. I want plotty stories about the last year of classes, Neville's brilliance in Herbology creating some kind of planty aid for the DA, Seamus missing Dean, and lots of Snape- his actions seeming harmful but actually keeping order, protecting the students from the Carrows.
I want the students trying to find out what is *really* happening in the rest of the wizarding world, not just what the Prophet is telling them, and Snape secretly helping them. Snape protecting the DA. Neville's Grandmother. Luna's kidnapping and how it galvanizes the resistance. McGonagall, and all of the teachers, being insubordinate to Snape and causing trouble for the Carrows. Draco's changing views about the DeathEaters and Snape's quiet attempts to draw him in. And Ginny being a confident, brilliant, cheeky, charismatic, full-fledged hero. She deserves that story. She deserves to be more than just the hero's wifey.
