i could not say anything about this picture and just let it give it's general, social, at-a-dinner-party impression. except how i already posted here that last night was about eating ice cream and watching scrubs. but yesterday afternoon i gave myself a little manicure and also cleaned my wedding ring. so this was just me taking a picture of those things. but it came out nicer than i had imagined, due, in part, to my wearing a brown sweater and standing in front of a brown wall. yay brown.

dude, this is my fifth month now of taking and posting a picture every day. i am pretty impressed with myself. also? i just realized that in two days, it will be my 5 year lj-versary. that is a lot of lj. i remembered because i started in may 2002, just as i was graduating from my masters program. and it was all about the lotrips back then. wacky.

it's 'dig your own free mulch' day here in denver. so i need to program that in as a study break at some point because we are in desperate need of mulch. (yes, it is possible to need mulch desperately.) sadly, at the moment, i just feel tired and crampy and not motivated to study or to dig mulch. i'll have to work on that.
