yesterday morning i slept late and had to run around to get ready and out of the house to make it to class on time. which i did not. but that was because of traffic. anyway. this stealth, blurry classroom picture is from post-tonal analysis class on thursday. i think we were analyzing some bartok at the time. or possibly some messiaen. i love this class. but thursday i was so tired, i could barely focus. the camera or my brain, apparently.

last night we went to see children of men. which i thought was excellent, if hard to watch at times. i'm still mulling it over. in the parking lot of the theater-mall-place was this exciting statue of a cowboy. what you can't exactly see in this picture is that the cowboy is skiing. yes. a skiing cowboy. colorado is so in touch with its identity. it's quite charming.
