i'm so in love with this day. i'm sure there're a million important things i'm not doing, but it's so beautiful and i'm so pleased with what i have done, that i just can't find it in me to care. i wish you could all be in my front room this afternoon, with the huge windows and all the sunlight. or maybe we should just all be outside where it's warm and sunny and ahhhhhh. happy.
i am contemplating pizza dough. i'm hanging with
annelarissa and
scottxwl and
wildgreentide tonight and we're going to have pizza but i've thrown a wrench in the works with my NO SIMPLE CARBS lifestyle. eh. but they're sweet and accomodacting folks. i haven't mentioned the carb thing here, have i? it's part of my grand effort to stay mostly sane. here are the components of such effort at present:
-therapy
-NO SUGAR. and cutting as far back on simple carbs as possible.
-(almost) daily yoga
-daily exercise (most days this means walking. but, omg, today i did this alternating walk-jog thing that totalled 12 minutes of jogging! that's huge for me, folks.)
-daily journaling and other more mental/emotional/spiritual things that i feel too protective of to discuss here
-daily flax seed oil, multivitamin, calcium-magnesium, and B6
-less caffeine (i haven't really started working on this one yet, but i'm contemplating it)
-stimulant medication (alternating between concerta and ritalin these days)
whew. it's a lot of work, changing your life.
tonight, anney and wgt and i will sing through our concert music. all schutz, all the time! which reminds me i should plug our various upcoming performances. soon, soon.
