phew. i got my hp slash wedding assignment and it's good. phew again. it took me about 30 seconds to start fretting after i, very much on a whim, signed up for that. i still don't know how it's going to be possible to write anything that is not utterly worthless schmoop. but first things first. i offer up a little prayer of thanks to the mysterious presence
marginalia that i don't have to write mpreg. i do have to write a character i've never attempted before... a challenge.
well, it will give me something to think about while sorting candles today.
i keep thinking about the movie i watched last night and things about it that bugged me. like that hi, they never fell in love, gay!boy (martin) just randomly started following around straight!boy (lucas) who was cute but mean to him. and then, lucas only comes around to martin when he finds out he has AIDS? wtf? they draw it out so we feel like he really loves him, not just pities him... but. it's entirely unconvincing. i'm so tired of the gay movies that could be good if they weren't trying so fricking hard to mash in a political message. gay love in a film is a political message. we don't need the protest at the hospital scene to prove it. hrmph. i think i'm just annoyed that lucas was so cute (pictorial evidence) and it would have been much more fun to see him spending more time kissing martin and less time feeling bad for him.
my computer is still not right. wah.
eeeee!!!! buffy s7 shipped today! ohboy.
i shall be scare today. work, class, rehearsal. not much time in between. ::bustles:: i rather wish i hadn't stayed up so late last night. but rach was up working on her thesis (draft due today, eek) and i have this problem with not being able to go to bed while she's still up. but i did go to bed. around 1:30? she was up til 4:30. my poor lady.
