phineasjonesthis morning, i got to work at 8, as i had agreed with nice!boss that i would. but she didn't actually have anything for me to do until 9. so, out came the slash notebook. i actually did some work on a wip. it's something i started in june or july. actually, ::faceplams:: it's for ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
musesfool's lyrics challenge from way back when. heh. but the story takes place in july and involves heat and sunlight. and i found it really hard to get myself into that, having just come in from a bitterly cold november morning. brrr. it's a stretch.
oh. i just got an e-mail from the church organist/accompanist in response to my bitchy e-mail to the choir on sunday. I know we all can be inattentive, noisy and distracted at times, but remember, the choir, myself included, think you're the greatest, and really enjoy working with you. Hopefully, your reminder will help us stay focused better for a while, at least. George. man. he made me all teary. he's a person whose opinion of me feels extra weighty.
annelarissa should be here any moment, and then we're off to rehearsal. i'm quite looking forward to it, actually. i'm not singing enough these days.
i think i want to iron my sweater. or brush my teeth. or clean the bathroom. or maybe i should change my clothes so i don't overwhelm the choir with candle scents. probably i'll just sit here and read.
