so, at wildgreentide's birthday gathering, we played her 'shag, marry, dump' - the board game given to her by starbuckle. and when, by our special, just-for-us rules, i gave everyone harry, ron and hermione as options, i was the only one, the only one in a room of 6 who listed ron as shag. everyone else dumped him. dumped him!!! ?

and my shock and outrage at this prompted this text message from jenny:

"What do you mean they all voted to dump me? Ron hollered. Hermione hid a smile behind her hand. "That was after they shagged you, of course."

hee. poor ron. oh well, more for draco. or neville. or harry. etc.

Wait--do you ever get to shag the one you married, or do you have to live in agonising unfulfilled attraction forever? Because that would make a big difference. Maybe everyone just wanted to make sure he had a chance at Hermione in bed, and only chose to marry Harry because he couldn't bear the thought of being with Ron for a lifetime without being allowed to have sex with him. Or something. :D

Dearest Ron,
It wasn't that it was bad or anything. It was great! I mean, 6 times! Harry can't make it to3 usually. But when you're faced with straight and narrow for the rest of your life, or exciting hijinx and danger, well, I know who you would choose so you understand.
