pritchkate: it's hard to be subtle when your topic is Jesus Christ, I think

one of the truer statements uttered in recent times, i might say.

so, she has added to the list of jesus movies - (which previously included last temptation of christ, jc superstar, jesus of montreal and life of brian [sort of], also not-really priest but almost) - godspell. haven't seen it as movie, but clearly, yes, it's about the j-man. also, i will add touch, a fantastic movie starring skeet ulrich and featuring christopher walken which contains sufficient reference to jesus and jesus-imagery to be counted as an official jesus movie.

now, time for me to crack open the ol' uu hymnal and pick out some decidedly un-jesusy hymns for sunday.
