phineasjoneseee! i'm listening to my lotr 'practice cd.' the mp3s were just fucked up, the cd is fine. omg, i can't believe i get to do this! ::bounces:: hm. it's the moria scene and the men in this chorus really aren't loud enough. i understand we'll be mic'ed - to combat the hugeness of the orchestra. ::bounces more::
also, last night i carpooled with a woman from this area. she's really nice and easy to talk to. and i was relieved when i told her my feelings about the director's treatment of this piece and she said she could see what i was talking about even though she hasn't seen the films or read the books or anything. ok, good, so it's not entirely my hypersensitivity.
omg, the leaving moria part. ::weeps:: they had a great boy soloist.
