it seems i'm back in the cafe. supposedly i'm here to get some score study done. ok, i will, in, like, a minute.

oh, hey, the people at the next table are talking about the website design for the other opera company in town. heh.

i'm re-reading PoA and noticing some new things. interesting little detail-ish things. and enjoying them. i'm marking pages so i can relate them later. but... dude. i love this here book.

and i keep having these raging yet fleeting plot bunnies. my favorite one of today - which has not yet completely left my brain - is a mwpp sirius/remus, lily/james from the pov of snape. i think the idea came out of reading snape's hostility toward hermione, calling her a show off and such... and imagining him feeling similarly about a young, smart lily evans. maybe a little jealous of her brains and a little crushy on her. and a little crushy on lupin too - another one who's smart and nicer to him than the rest. but then as he watched, they would both pair off with the two boys he despised most. and, of course, he would somehow observe sirius and remus having teh hott sexx. oh, yes, and this was also inspired by reading the first dinner in the great hall wherein snape looks at lupin with the kind of loathing harry is used to seeing directed at himself. i thought that was fabulous foreshadowing toward what we later learn about snape's grudges etc.
