this makes me think that maybe all those scent things in fics aren't as random as they seem. also, this morning i had a plot bunny along the lines of harry going around sniffing things and people - trying to identify draco's scent... as in, he noticed draco's scent while kissing and hadn't been able to identify it like of course he should have and so he was going crazy. haha.
