phineasjonesugh. the journal is so slow tonight. and i have a thousand comments to catch up on. ok, not really a thousand. but, like. ten. at least ten. but i'll have to wait bc the slowness is making me nutso.
today went well - the drive, the music, lunch with the rents, the other drive. yeah. sometimes i fear i'm getting too good at the speedy choir preparation. today they sang these two anthems they'd never seen before thursday and they did a pretty good job. but someday, i hope, i'll need to call back up that skill of working on a piece slowly, over months, perfecting it. that's so much more satisfying.
