when i wear my lightweight, black, linen, wide-leg pants and my 3 euro, barely there thongs (as in shoes, yo) together, i just feel like dancin'. something about the combo. i wore them last night and was wiggling all over the place - which elicited some strange looks from choristers. i have not merengued or funana-ed in far too long. who wants to dance with me?

i got myself soooo stressed out yesterday that today my body seems convinced i should be on vacation. "lalala," it says, when we should really be getting dressed and heading to the T.

i dreamed that we moved into the wrong apartment. somehow we just failed to notice it was one of the other ones we had looked at and not the one that we've paid a deposit for and all. it was large but really rather gross and the landlord - who figured prominently in the dream - was totally sleezy. once i noticed the lack of wood molding, i whispered to rach that we were in the wrong place and we panicked. don't remember how it ended. funny that moving anxiety would manifest that way when really the stress is all about packing and finding work once i get there.

i have come to the conclusion that i am procrastinating on my remix fic. this is bad. i hereby give any of you permission to poke me about it if you are so moved.

i thought all six of your comments would have been volunteers for dancing with phineas, but they were not! how strange! i, for one, feel that dancing is The Answer. i sometimes waltz or tango by myself behind our giant dance organ during tours. but i try not to let the guests see. also, i was informed today that i bop around when i'm bussing tables. this was news to me! but funny news! about myself!!

I wanna dance with you!! I think Dancing with Phineas is one of my top 20 things that I enjoy doing in my life. And I don't get to do it nearly enough. July, baby!
