i love radishes. they are so pretty and tasty and crunchy.

yesterday was a day of tedium. the band, choral and orchestral departments send out a mailing to incoming students each year. they get the TAs to do the grunt work of prepping the mailing. labeling, stuffing, sealing. this might not be so bad if there were not 7,000 incoming students. i do not exaggerate. and, only myself and one other person showed up to do this. some people from the office helped when they could. but omg. i know i personally prepped at least 1,000 of those things yesterday. and went back to do some more this morning. mind numbing and back cramping. but when i was leaving, i stopped by to say hi to the nerd room in the library. look at them all! spending their summers working, studying, dissertating, researching, etc. aren't they cute? we won't talk about how i'll probably be joining the before long. shhh.
