this was pretty much all i did on monday, so it's all i had to take a picture of. working on my analysis presentation. which was yesterday. which i finished in the nick of time. which went very well, i think. phew. one more item down. the list of final crap looks like this:

see, when i take a boring, ugly picture like this one, it's usually because something about the moment struck me. here, as usual in symposium, it's that we were making/hearing some beautiful music and we all look like we're watching paint dry. but now, i can prove it. i took a little video that goes with this pic. see if it makes my point:

while i'm posting video, here's one of rach's mom's visit. when we were at red rocks, there was some kind of earth day thing going on. and they had this guy there, john adams, who has made a career of covering john denver songs. which i thought was awesome. so, this was the rocky mountain high moment, and i had to get it on video. and rach's mom and rach are so typically them, it amuses me.
