i'm proud of myself for sitting in the library yesterday afternoon and doing the post-tonal homework that's due thursday - since i won't be here then to hand it in. i did that and various other trip preparation stuff pretty much all day yesterday. and now i kinda sorta feel like i'm actually going to florida today. kinda sorta.
still a few things to do this morning. printing trip info and some fic for the plane ride (thanks,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
cimorene111, for the suggestions!), planning a rehearsal for today and making sure matt has ideas for thursday's rehearsal when myrtle and i will both be in miami.
miami! miami beach, even. i'm ready to be someplace else for a few days. even if the someplace else if is a choral director's convention. not exactly "getting away from it all." :) but whatev. i get to take beach breaks. maybe go dancing. ::shimmies:: i'm bringing the laptop but i don't know what my connect-ability will be. so, may be a bit before i see you folks again.
