May. 24th, 2005 12:27 pmomg, hi, i'm still here. i need to post before it becomes a looming, scary thing and i can't do it.
fuschia had a birthday party on friday night. it was fun times. i'm very happy i know her. thanks, livejournal!
rach graduated* on saturday. there was a mom-vist, a luncheon, a party, etc. i'm so proud of my girl.
sunday was church. the usual, plus some vegan cake. then there was hitchhiker's with camilla and A and coffee with
camillafarfalla. i liked the movie, though i haven't read the book in many years and i think that helped me like it. it wasn't as funny as it could have been or as british as it should have been. but i left the theater in an alarmingly good mood.
yesterday was the day of many therapies. ok, two. but that sure feels like a lot. and then there was episode iii with camilla and her mom and K. i didn't hate it. wait, i should say that like this: I DIDN'T HATE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i'm not sure i would say i liked it, but i'm still recovering from past lucas-inflicted pain. i'm still angry at him for how not-good these are in general so i don't think purely liking this movie would have been possible. but there were some parts that i liked a lot. and some i hated with a fiery passion. no surprise. mostly, i'm sad that these weren't movies i could love when i waited so long and wanted to so much. i'm sad that i didn't even care enough to see it opening day. i'm sad that i'm much, much more excited about seeing serenity for a second time on thursday.
also, hi, did john williams listen to the lotr score much?
and today is a sleepy day. it's raining. chloe is asleep in her cat-hammock by the window. stella is asleep in a corner of the couch. i am not asleep but easily could be.
there, a post. now i have blasted through the block. (::winks at
