hackthis wrote more thousandth man-verse. i figure if you're a fan, you probably already know this. but, hey, there was the lj blackout, things get missed. so i'm putting this here as a PSA. when it's all over we still have to clear up. ::clutches chest:: theodore's growing up. wah.
2. omg, firefox! i'm still feeling the love. because of the tabs. and how, when you're computer is being an asshole and you have to restart it, you can make all the tabs into favorite with the wee click of a button. and then open them all up again just as easily. ohmyheart. really, it makes me that happy.
3. rachael is sitting over there sewing a cozy for her ipod mini. is this the cutest behavior ever or what? my parents gave it to her for her birthday and she loves it. and now she's sewing clothes for it. this cozy is bright green felt and she's sewing on a flower that will be a clasp. she also has an 'evening wear' version planned which features burgundy velvet and this leftover sparkly stuff from my arwen dress. hee.
4. let's go back to 1. i am coming to accept that the thousandth man-verse is some of my favorite fan fiction. like, ever. maybe even favorite ever, no 'some of.' please realize, i don't say these things lightly. i think it was a year after fotr was out that i started to say that maybe it was on my short list of all time favorite movies. i mean... seriously. but this particularly story ofhackthis's, it just gives me everything i go to slash fanfic for. not that i have a list, i just know from the feeling of complete satisfaction i get from reading these stories.
which makes me want to make a desert island list but that would take a lot of thought and poking around and i have more important things to do (sadly) at the moment. but. you know. some day when i really, really need the procrastination.
5. this weekend, i beta-ed some hannibal (book) fic forjjtaylor. well, i can barely take that credit as there was not much that needed beta-ing and i am completely unfamiliar with the canon. and i have no desire to be familiar with the canon. nevertheless, i found the story interesting, somewhat disturbingly hot, and compelling. i recommend it. this isn't supposed to happen. clarice/lecter.
