+i've decided to create a separate journal in which to put my ADD-related thoughts. because i think it would be helpful to me to keep more in depth records of my experiences with the medication and my reactions to things that i'm reading and appointments with the shrink etc. but it doesn't feel right to put them here. phineasjones is for fannish things and personal things... and the ADD-stuff is personal, sure, but in a different way. i want to be able to talk about the nitty-gritty without worrying that i'll be boring people or whatever. and so,![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
phinicky. anyone who wants to read that stuff is more than welcome to friend the journal and i will friend back anyone who does. but i will not add friends to the journal unless i'm added first.
+the new year approaches and i have made a difficult decision. i have a ginormous collection of comments to which i hoped to one day respond. i am not going to respond to them. i am going to beg for comment response amnesty. it's the only way, at this point. i'm not keeping up with current comments because i'm carrying too much guilt over old ones. but i want all of you, my friends, to know that every comment made was important to me and was appreciated. and it's some of the most important ones that i never answered, because they required time and thought that i feared i couldn't give them.
i imagine that most of you don't even remember what comments you might have left that i never got to. but if you actually do remember one, if you were actually waiting for a response, please let me know. i can certainly manage to respond the to the few that people out there truly care about, i just can't handle the hundreds that have piled up. and i'm finally acknowledging that and looking forward to starting the new year with the slate wiped clean. thanks for understanding - or for not beating me too hard if you don't. ;)
