Nov. 30th, 2004 03:07 pmbwah. i was half way to my acupuncturist's appointment when i fished the card out of my bag to check the time one last time... and i had it right. 2:30. yesterday. ::facepalm::
i was busy today but mostly i haven't been posting because i have so many negative things to say. about myself and about everything. so it feels better if i just don't say anything.
but this one wants out. it's a little unpopular fandom opinion brought on by watching PoA until i fell asleep on the couch for the fourth night in a row. here's the opinion: PoA movie = eh. there are things i like about it but, added together, they do not equal really good movie to me. and yes, it is worlds better than the first two but still... i just think that with the resources they had at their disposal, they could have made a much better, tighter, more interesting movie. that plus the things i personally wish they had done that they didn't do. or... like, the quidditch scene? wtf is that? it starts well but then it ceases to make sense. actually, every scene involving dementors. yeah. they don't work for me. if i didn't know from the book what dementors are, i wouldn't get it from the movie.
and we won't talk about lupin.
i liked it better when i first saw it. maybe it's about mood. but it was not moving me last night. ::sigh:: see? this is why i haven't been posting.
