these post-thanksgiving days have been slow and lazy and full of visit from left-over-eating friends. which is lovely. and apparently, i'm going out now, so i'll finish posting later.

servitude and degradation follow

i keep wondering why lj is so slow and then i remember that it's a saturday night. right. people, like, do things and stuff.

rach is working on a paper, though, and i am not inclined to go out and do anything wacky. instead i'm cooking beans and rice, scribbling bits of wedding fic and contemplating watching some buffy or reading OotP. earlier we went to the library and then walked around town a bit and it was cold out but really nice. brisk. invigorating. it was a good walk. outside is good. yis.

i started a fannish post a few days ago and abandoned it. so, it's not really terribly new and exciting anymore, but here it is:

-have you been reading the crazy brilliance of helenish lately? i'm too lazy to make links but her most recent posts are incredible.

-there is more longnottom from hackthis. my love for this defies words.

-dorrito's every flavour mood beans! they are so clever. i love this project.

yeah, that's it. i was going to add more, see? but oh well. my beans need stirring.
