Nov. 20th, 2004 11:43 amthe road to physical and mental wellbeing seems to be paved with the ingestion of nasty fluids and the like. this morning i had my multivitamin (mr. shrink was very concerned about my B12) and ::grimaces:: a heapin' spoonful of flax seed oil. i can hear you know - ew! why not take it in capsules??? i can assure you, i will do my darnedest to find vegan capsules of flax seed oil. but there are none at the local whole foods and i remember from my days of being all good about healthy eating that i couldn't find them then either. boo gelatin. [eta: found some]
and i have two cups of sludge-tea to look forward to today. thing is, i think the sludge-tea had an immediate effect. it could well have been any of a number of other factors, but my sinus congestion did ease after i drank the cup o'herbs yesterday afternoon. it also made me feel a little extra peppy. i really want to know what was in the brew.
it's a little ironic, though, to be thinking about putting all the good things in my body today when last night was all about alcohol and sugar. that would be
starbuckle's birthday gathering. which was great fun. and omg! the ipod surprise went so very well. i will wait, in case she wants to share the stories first. but there will be photos and a wee video to share with all of you who contributed but couldn't be there to witness the excitement.
