Sep. 27th, 2004 07:32 ami played the snooze game with my alarm for what has to be a record amount of time this morning. but it was so incredibly pleasant there in my warm, flannel-y bed with just a slight cool breeze coming in the windows. mmmm. i could go back right now. happily. but there's work today so i really can't. wah.
today is not a day i'm looking forward to. nope. there is the 8:30-5 at the new temp job where i will apparently be putting things in boxes or somesuch. and then a rushed dinner and then off to the choir i'm pretending i don't already know i'm going to quit. i have to at least go tonight to return my lotr music and to pretend i'm giving it a real chance. we'll be singing some bach this evening... and really, if i had any intention of staying in the choir, this would be a good test. what one does with bach says a goodly bit about one's musical leanings.
yesterday was a very nice day. church was good - i actually enjoyed the sermon ("god bless america?") and afterward i went to lunch with my grandfather. and that was sad and good both - since he's really out of it these days but i don't see him much. and then rach and i went to a park to read (ok, i slept) and scott and anney joined us. it was such a beautiful day.

callmesandy's very fair comments. but no, i can't, omg, that show is bad. BAD. it deserves caps even. i was sad to see cc's role be so lame and pathetic, even if her clothing was nicely skimpy. and i have to admit, i switched over to extreme makeover; home edition during a commercial and got involved and forgot to switch back for rather a long time. heh.
ok... work. meeeeh. i can't make myself get up from my desk and go put on work-y clothes. business casual only, since i'll be, you know, packing shit into boxes. ::grumbles:: wish me luck.
