something about a muffin tin

unbelievably, i still need to be rushing to post.  though it is the weekend, though i am not a working girl at present. 

it has been a nice weekend chez mes parents.  camillafarfalla is here and it's great to see her though she is really sick, and that's not great at all. 

mostly we've been sitting around the house but we did one very exciting thing yesterday - we went to the lotr exhibition at the museum of science!  hee.  we have plans to go in september with more people and really, i already can't wait to go again.  so great.  details later.

yesterday morning i listened to these 'practice cds' they gave out to the lotr chorus folks.  i don't need them but i thought they'd be fun to have so when one member offered to make them mp3s, i signed up to receive them.  but... they suck.  i don't know if the problem is his or the cds, but... ?  it's very weird, skips around, repeats, plays fragment.  i don't know man, no good.  it was like having it on lp and playing 'drop the needle.'  very weird.

today is brunch at rach's friend C's house.  there is much preparation to be done.  so i have to go make oatmeal chocolate chip cherry cookies now (omg, best cookies ever!).
