i will go there
Aug. 17th, 2004 07:56 amit's weird to me that i was actually busy all day yesterday. hence the no posting. remember the phin who lazed about and posted 10 times a day? i miss her. i was going to post after i got home from lotr rehearsal but i was just too wiped out. i've barely had time to skim the flist too and that's always sad.
work yesterday was tediously busy in that monday way. which made the day pass quickly - good - but didn't give me much time to work on the diner fic - bad. but it was special times in the office as always and perhaps the most memorable moment of the day was when junior wandered by my desk with his daily huge glass of chocolate milk. he stopped at my desk, leaned over and stuck it under my nose and asked whether i thought the little white floaty bits meant it had gone bad. ... there are many things wrong with this particular scenario. i gave him a look and said, 'think about who you're asking.' we have had many discussion about the vegan thing. all milk seems bad to me. i resisted the urge to spit into his drink but... i really hope that in my last four days there, no one else sticks dairy products in my face. woe to those who try.
and then in the evening was the lotr rehearsal. i could try to put a positive spin on it... or i could tell you how i really feel. we worked on the second movement - which is most of the best music from fotr. the first movement is mostly the doom and gloom tunes. the second has everything from the shire music to the death of boromir and it's quite long. i wrote down things as we went along that i thought i would want to mention when posting. turns out, most of them are things that pissed me off... ( but here they are )
