starbuckle, i have no trouble breaking a pattern of early rising and remaining fast asleep until 9:30 as soon as i have the opportunity. not a problem. ahhh. and it's nice out today! sunny at the moment, and not too hot at all. alxamdulilaah.
last night
annelarissa and
scottxwl rescued me from a night of woefully refreshing a quiet lj by inviting me over for un-milkshakes, popcorn and the movie honey. which was a pleasantly silly few hours of entertainment. and then
starbuckle came home and we read each other's stories that we will be beta-ing for each other. it's a rough thing, folks, to sit there in the room with someone reading something you wrote. fortunately, we're cool like that and we can handle it. apparently not entirely cool though, as both of our stories include being overheated and requiring cooling charms. hmmm has it been hot here in noho, you think?
omg!
fearlessdiva's comiccon report on things re: rotk ee had me squeeing this morning. you so want to read this. SPOILERS FOR ROTK EE. which, really, is the point.
also, any soundtrack geeks should really know this. and maybe you already do. but just in case. i found it while poking around trying to find as much info as i could about the lotr symphony. i'm just dying to know which music is in these 6 movements. i really hope, from a choral perspective, that the part at the end of rotk when the tower falls is in it. it's such a glorious moment - musically and otherwise. ::sigh::
and now i had to go listen to that moment and omg, it brings up another issue i've been pondering. i have never listened to some of this music without crying. this could be a problem.
