wha? only 5 entries between when i last checked and now? something strange is at work here. and what is this 'your turn' business, hm?

we have a rather frightening task in store for us this morning. chloe has an appointment to be shaved. the scary part for us is getting her cranky self into some kind of carrier and off to the vet without losing any appendages. and then the vet can deal with the rest. they're probably going to have to sedate her. poor, misanthropic chloe. we're really kind of excited about the sedation because it means they can trim her claws. which will make life a little nicer for us for a little while. but then of course, after the shaving, she's going to be even more freaked out for a few days and she's going to look really, really funny. here's the rule though - no one coming over is allowed to laugh at her in her presence. got that? she's very sensitive. if you must laugh, go in another room. ok then.

and then after this vet trip will be a very busy day. wah. it's actually a very busy partial day, because around 4, annelarissa and i will go register at our workshop. whee! i'm so looking forward to that. but much to do first. ::runs::

mmm_cake and i are doing our best to be good kitty moms but omg, does chloe look funny. for the record, i would like to say that i have always been right, she's just fluffy!!!1! it turns out that dear chloe is actually rather small. all the fur makes her look much larger. so now, she looks like someone photoshopped a huge, fluffy cat head on her scrawny little body. it's hard not to laugh.

she's starting to calm down. but when the vet tech saw us come in, she said, 'that cat needs drugs.' i guess she gave them some trouble. hee.

anney and i went to register at our workshop. we signed in, met a cute gay boy, saw that a guy from choir that we really don't like is participating and had little audition-thingies. which were just sight-reading with members of the group that runs the workshop. which was fun. i wish i could say i read perfectly but alas, i did not. it was fun though and i only care if it means anney and i get placed in different groups. the people were super nice.

at 8, we'll go back for an opening performance by the group and then there will be more singing, and a reception or something. anney and i are both like, whoa! dude, our bedtimes are before that. ok, maybe not quite for me but almost. the schedule has us in various activities from 9 am until the last one starts at 9:45 pm. craziness. so. i won't be around quite so much this week. but i'll be having good times. oh yes.
