well. i was just sitting down to my morning lj and e-mail time and hey! i have a temp job. for today and possibly mondays, tuesdays and thursdays for while to come. 9-2. hey. i like this. the job sounds boring (and not that good, sitting alone in front of the computer kind of boring) but it pays. low level admin for a woodworking company. whatever. they're going to give me money. and i need to go get dressed now. wheee!

i haven't read my flist since yesterday morning. it's starting to make me twitchy.

but yes. a full day. this temp gig? easiest thing in the world. if you don't mind the extreme boredom. low level admin? not so much. my sole duty was answering the phone. which rang about 15 times in 4 hours. yeah. thank goodness i brought a book (lamb). maybe i'll yammer on about other aspects of the experience later.

it did feel awfully good just to be going somewhere in the morning and know that there will be a check coming my way as a result. yeah. felt good.

and then i went to the p.o. and mailed a certain pair of shoes to a certain someone. and then annelarissa came over and we practiced the music we're going to sing in church this sunday. and then i drove mmm_cake to class and then went shopping. and then made dinner to have when she got back.

it was like that, this day, one thing after another. and i have to say, i quite liked it. but now it's time to tackle the flist and have some tea and get me to bed early-like. got to work in the morning, don't ya know?

i kept looking at the woman who plays justine in season 3 angel and thinking why the hell does she look so familiar. and then i got it. that she's the blonde chick on the L word. and was in 2 girls in love. i like her as a redhead.
