(no subject)

so yesterday was indeed a wholesome day of wholesome wholesomeness. nothing quite like a church fair (even a uu one) for wholesomeness. i sang christmas songs and carols with my choristers, ate their veggie chilli, bought a bunch of plants and perused the wares both crafty and recycled. all my folks came. it was rather a lovely time. then E took me shopping and the wholesomeness factor decreased somewhat. we're dangerous shopping partners as she spends rather spontaneously and i am very easily tempted. but! i managed to get a christmas present or two. woot. and last night, we watched TTT. hee. guess whose idea that was.

today's sermon topic is oscar wilde and the abyss of love. the minister said she'll read from wilde's letter to his lover from prison. i'm looking forward to this. we're singing wayfaring stranger - a simple, haunting arrangement and thomson's my shepherd will supply my need which numbers among my favorite anthems.

and then i'm running right home and spending the rest of the day snuggling with rach. that's right, a good 10 hours of snuggling at least. so, i love you all, but don't call me, i'll be snuggling. ;)
