i finally made some updates at cummings_chal. finally. two new (or not very new, but finally posted there) stories for you this morning -
togethercoloured instant, a remus/tonks by friede that consciously works in a variety of cummings poetry.
so quite a new thing, a hermione/ginny by retired_ego. i may be biased on this one, having betaed it, but it's some good femslash. it has the kind of angst/breathlessness/anticipation that i often find lacking in f/f stories. consider it recced.

and i have others recs, clearing house style. they were recced to me and now i rec them to you.

glitterdemon recced penknife's sirius/remus, freeze-frame. when i started reading, i was king of noncommittal about it. lalala, oh, here's an idea. and then by the end of this short little piece, i was caught up entirely in it, in the nostalgia and quiet longing. damn good.

so, thank goodness someone went and declared a protection from pornography week. ::astounded:: there 's an icon here somewhere.

and, once again, meep. i haven't even been able to feedback yet, i need to get my head sorted out a bit.

i liked angel last night. silly, light, fluffy - just what i wanted for my evening's entertainment. though i really don't need to see any more naked angel, thankyouverymuch. they made such a big deal about nekkid spike and there was hardly anything. now angel can't keep his clothes on and there's no big hooha. certainly no hooha from me.

on the road again

ok, so. i'm getting ready to leave. i'll go to the registry to get a copy of my registration then go to the inspection place to get the car inspected then get on the highway and go meet with the minister then go to lexington to pick up some music and sit and plan my rehearsal then go back to church and give a voice lesson then have rehearsal then go to my parents house. i only have one load of laundry to wash tonight so i should be able to go to bed at a reasonable hour/get up and get to work at a reasonable hour.

help me out, would you? if you see me online after, say, midnight - aim or lj or whatever - give me the smackdown. i need it. i need to sleep. i was up late last night helping rach edit her latest paper.

if you notice a conspicuous lack of starbuckle on line today, it's because she's having connection troubles. she just called to see if it was neighborhood/verizon-wide. nope. i hope all is well.
