i continue to curse the existence of pseudoephedrine as now i am far more congested than i was before taking the vile drug. ::sniffle::

today is a little sad. harrimad_sol and hominidj are packing a truck and heading off to ohio. wah! i'll miss them so very much. and next week camillafarfalla heads off to nyc. wah again! everybody's leaving!!! ::cries::

except of course, a few weeks later starbuckle and annelarissa will arrive. and that's all about the goodness. so. yeah. ch-ch-ch-changes.

there is much to do today - as we leave tomorrow for philadelphia. where i will be a bridesmaid. oy. i'm going to try to get a haircut and a manicure today. as well as clean the house and pack and all that. (note to self: clean before the manicure) when we get back on monday, my dear friend RC will be here for the night with her bf. i haven't seen her in something like 5 years. i'm thrilled. but it will be crazy times.

Ephedrine and pseudoephedrine are closely related drugs with actions and side effects similar to the hormone epinephrine (adrenaline).

i knew it! when i was a wee one with asthma, they were forever shooting me full of adrenaline and it made me feel awful, much in the same way taking pseudoephedrine does now. i just read a list of 'minor' side effects and yeah, they're all the ones i experience. weird. so, i guess i'm sensitive to it. i would like to file an official complaint here... i mean really. someone out there said, let's give this one nasty allergies, defective sinuses and some mild asthma and then make her hyper sensitive to the one drug everyone uses for congestion. grr. it worked out much better with my hair. i've always thought that was well planned - have a narrow head. but my hair is so huge and boofy and curly, no one would ever notice my narrow head. see, there can be logic here.

it just hit me again as i organize my stuff for church choir this year... i don't have to pick the hymns!!!!!! ahhhhh. such a tremendous relief.

i just got a haircut and i love love love it. my hair is so happy and healthy and bouncy right now, the curls are practically shouting "boing!" and it cost me a mere $20. have i mentioned? i love northampton!

have decided to postpone the manicure til my arrival in philadelphia. i'm not used to having to be careful with my nails and i'm sure i'd screw it up before the wedding if i had them done now.

these are the weighty thoughts that occupy my mind today.

i guess i don't really love packing either but without the cramps, it wouldn't be so bad.

but things could be much worse. it could be sunday evening (during the wedding) and i could be feeling like this. yes, that would be much worse.

things i do love:
remus, sirius and.

i lied earlier when i said i was just thinking about my hair and nails. i've been thinking about sirius and remus all day today. muchly inspired by jjtaylor. it's been good. some necessary processing.

but i was also thinking about my nails some. i'm going to paint them dark red. i'm such a vixen.
