mmm_cake and harrimad_sol just what money-spending success was in store for me. i spent $35 at a thrift store and it got me 3 work-quality skirts, 2 cute tops and a fun brown velvet jacket. in the delight that is h&m, i spent $16.50 on a cute outfit for the rehearsal dinner for SB's wedding. and then i totally splurged and bought a corduroy coat for fall that i luurrve. it really needed me to bring it home. so i did. and then i bought some underthings. and this morning i'm going back! to the mall to buy my bridesmaid dress which i found last night but have yet to purchase. it's perfect! black with spaghetti straps. comes down to about mid-calf. has a spray of sparkly beads over the chest. a gauzy scarf comes with. simple and elegant. yay. harri and rach also had amazing shopping success. we declared it the magic of 3 but also acknowledged that it was harri-the-super-shopper's presence that brought on the good finds.
right. but i'm really tired right now and can't really drum up much enthusiasm for returning to the mall. i lasted far longer than i usually do yesterday, i don't want to push my luck.
oh, and, last we knew,camillafarfalla was stuck in nyc. she was supposed to come home yesterday but i don't know what's been happening since we talked to her yesterday and she was waiting for subway service to be restored. i hope she's home and sleeping or something good like that.
