(no subject)

it seems pointless to sit here and write about not writing. so i think i won't do that.

today was a day of productivity and good times. those are good days. the living room and front room are on the brink of joining the kitchen's state of completely done-ness. this is sooo happy-making. the bedroom lingers at almost-there while the bathroom needs some structural work and the study is a complete disaster. more to do, as always.

but we also went for a bike ride... 8 milesish on what must be the easiest bike trail in the world. perfect for me! and a welcome relief after the hilly cape cod trails. and harrimad_sol came over for lunch and some QaF viewing. that was loverly.

and tonight i made olive pesto. mmm. so easy. i think i'm going to make pesto all the time now. easy and tasty - does it get any better?

i did end up reading some slash last night. the last several chapters of malfoy pi (thanks to wax_jism for the mention that jogged the memory of camillafarfalla telling me to get reading) and fearlessdiva's will/jack. that was some excellent and fulfilling slash to read. i think i will search out a little more before crashing tonight.
