big big windows
Jul. 4th, 2003 10:13 ami keep trying to change the 'location' on my userinfo page and the change doesn't go through. sad times for me, i was all excited about that. perhaps i should find some new hobbies.
so, one thing this country did right was declare a national holiday that falls right on the day rach and i need to go paint our new bedroom. we have now chosen all our paint colors - from the martha stewart signature line. *g* they can be mixed with 'harmony' paint which is low fume. it's really quite amazing, it doesn't even smell like paint. doesn't bother my asthma at all. so, the colors:
living room: fen and sung green
kitchen: rutabaga and cochineal
bedroom: yearling peach (with a ragging off texture)
bathroom: pinks (that's the name of the color)
the study we will leave white. it looks nice that way.
i can't wait to get back out to noho. sadly, the noho kids are coming this way for the weekend. maybe we'll wave to each other as we cross paths on the pike. i'm sure rach and i will find plenty to entertain us in their absence. like unpacking 100 or so boxes. oy.
last night, we watched far from heaven. very pretty. very well done. very sad. i don't really know whether i liked it. but.. yes. good.
