got myself into a quiet rage over news this morning of massachusetts catholic church leaders pushing for a ban on gay marriage. this would always piss me off but i just find it utterly outrageous that after this particular year, church leaders could actually pretend they have any moral high ground (as they see it) in matters of sexuality. grrrrrrrrr!!! i think i may be frothing at the mouth. um... linky.

uoh. i predict stress today and lots of it. i still haven't found a keyboardist for sunday - and i've tried many. worst case scenario is me having to play. and yes, that would be bad news bears. bad bad bad. any of you happen to be pianists living in the new england area? just checking.

i read me some plebey x-slash last night. and i got all nostalgic. it was like my early slash reading days when i read everything. now you all have spoiled me. but it was kind of fun to read the... um... less polished stuff for a while. made me smile.

hmph. i've taken to answering 'out of area' calls in case they're camillafarfalla. but they never are. not when i'm actually home. instead, i get that telltale 2 second delay - which is fortunate bc that gives me just enough time to recognize that it's an automated call and hang up. still, it would be nicer if it were camilla.

oh right, i came to the computer to write an e-mail to the minister. oops. i'm distracto-girl. was just playing through some hymns to see if i could do it. as far as i can tell, it would probably be ok... can never be sure since my keyboard is not full size. ::facepalms:: also i got e-mail from A who knows someone who might be able to play. oh, pleasepleaseplease.
