little plastic castles

i have a staff meeting at church this morning but i just have this feeling that i'm the only one who remembers. as has happened several times in the past. there's been no reminder from the administrator... that's always a sign. so, i sent an e-mail to see, since i don't fancy driving out there to find out i'm the only one ready to meet.

what i'd really like to do today is stay home and play with legos. well. that's only half true. not being able to find that picture yesterday is making me want to spend several days organizing all my photos. and that would be quite an undertaking, let me tell you.

but. work. worky worky. both kinds today. church and... er... other church. heh. wouldya just look at what happens when you raise a kid without religion? just can't tear her away from church!

speaking of, i just got an e-mail sent to my choir about some other performance of the mozart we just did... it included their favorite topic of mockery: "I do know that the director is an absolute delight to work with...no belly button rings though, so the stretching exercises won't be quite the same." ::sigh::

ok, so the staff meeting is next week. oops. but i don't regret the trip to the church since i had some poking around in the files to do anyway. lalala.

and now i'm inordinately hungry for the time of day. and i'm fighting rrrreeeeaaally hard not to read slash right now. nnnnnnnnyah it's so hard! no. step away from the computer! pick up your book!

ok. one hour. i want to wash dishes and finish the frickin book!!!! if this book has as miserable an ending as... well, that would be spoilery wouldn't it? i guess i'll just say, i hope this ends with some degree of happiness for at least one character. preferably two. it's not looking so good at this point.

and then. buffy! i'm so excited for this episode, i'm considering turning off the ringer on my phone. not like i would actually answer it, but i don't even want to be distracted.

and buffy on the news! tonight on all things considered, they did a spot on buffy studies. very fun.

uh oh. now it's less than one hour. dishes!!!

hm... rach keeps telling me i'm in a remarkably good mood lately... i do seem a little perky, eh?

the writers of smallville are the plebiest of plebes.

and buffy. i can't really talk about it. too many emotions here.

but smallville. meh. that opening scene makes me want to turn it off. but we all know i won't be doing that.
