oh well. i meant to leave the house half and hour ago. slept late. could be worse, half an hour isn't bad. especially considering how much we accomplished last night. no wonder i'm tired.

ugh. so. work. i've moved on from my data entry project... to another data entry project. but this one is more interesting at least. i have to skim articles in the group's publication so i can index them with a brief summary. the articles are mostly actually sermons. so, i expect to come home in a few hours all kinds of enlightened.

k. well, not a very exciting little entry. but i have to hang around in here this afternoon while people clean the house. so maybe i'll think of something interesting before then. right now, i have to go wash the breakfast dishes. ciao.

burning question of the hour

should i buy a used keyboard? i just got an e-mail from a friend who knows someone who's selling. it's old but in good condition and much much better than the one i have now - touch sensitive keys, pedals etc. and i could get it, the stand and the bench for $70. ultimately, i don't want a keyboard, i want a piano. but $70 is pretty darn cheap. it's only 61 keys... but it's only $70. oh, what to do what to do?

i'm hiding in the study, learning the brahms schicksalslied while people clean my house. this is very weird. but i can't wait to see what it looks like later. of course, then we'll have to deal with this room - where we put everything so it wouldn't be in their way. hmm. we have a lot. of. stuff. the best plan would probably be to torch this room. you wouldn't know from looking at the rest of the house that there was anything missing. i'd grab my laptop and toss in a lit match on the way out. voila. right.
